Oh sure I agree with you. To me, I love my dogs, as dogs. They were never on the same level as children. I got my dogs from the City animal shelter on Oak st. I view my job as to give these already born creatures the best life someone can give them. When that pet goes its another chapter in my life. I don't view that chapter as replaceable. Its unique.
