Well, that is two players for the Canucks. Ottawa lost Karlsson and still won. Hurricanes would be bad regardless.
Personally I would say Taveres, Weber, Lundqvist. - MBFlyerfan
I would say weber even more so now that lava is there. He is going to rely heavily on the dmen to be involved offensively. So if weber goes down, much like Pronger here, it could get ugly. But their d unit as a whole is better than ours
Talbot looked damn good in spot duty last year and the rangers are very good at driving play, do lundquist doesn't register for me.

I feel like NSH could more afford to lose Weber than Rinne again... Josi/Jones/Ellis are there to pick up some slack... but Carter Hutton as #1 or being forced to sign somebody like Bryz? Yikes. |

Enough doom and gloom Peanut. The Flyers have done nothing to improve on last years roster, and just lost their second best dman before the season even starts. Get those glasses out and do a swan dive into a pool of orange-aid. |

Thankfully the man responsible for the great moves over the last few years received a promotion. We are in good hands.
At the end of the day it will take a few years to clean up the mess and make a more financially balanced roster related to its talent make-up. I am okay with that. No issues with missing the playoffs this season. |

Does the NHL have any kind of misconduct policy? I believe that giroux earned a game suspension with his antics. Even though charges were never filed, I believe the NHL should have the authority to hand out a suspension regarding that matter (and any others). I don't know if they do and chose not to or what. But in my NHL that's deserving of a game Off |

Call me crazy, but I dont think the Flyers are as bad as some of you are thinking. I still see them as a playoff team. The defense has been an issue since Pronger went down. Whats new??
Timonen was steady but we all saw he was a shadow of his former self. He got slow. The team is faster this season with Umberger and MDZ. Laughton may even make the team. |

I don't believe players should have to face double jeopardy. What they do away from the league/team should be separate from what they do in league/team-oriented affairs. |
