I said it before. Echiefs9 is Dee's alternate account. - Cptmjl
Nah. I've read some Echiefs posts where he states legitimate, coherent and informed hockey opinions. That disproves your theory. |

I love Ho-Sang
"What's my goal? It's to be better than John Tavares, I know he's an unbelievable player and I want to push myself against those guys because that's how you get there. If I'm going head-to-head and pushing toes with Johnny T, chances are pretty good I'd make the team" |

I haven't been invited back since my first year in the OHL in December. It's been a year and a half; I haven't been a part of any Hockey Canada stuff." - time for him to become a US citizen instead.... |

Islanders Players Complete ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but is it worth it?
I've been silent on this matter the past few weeks because I didn't want to stir the pot too much, but I cannot stay silent any longer. Sure ALS, also known as Joe DiMaggio's Disease, is bad and everything...but is it worth it for the Islanders to continue to allow their players, even superstars, to keep risking injury all in the name of a silly viral charity movement? What if John Tavares sustained a concussion from a poorly broken-up chunk of ice? Will Isles' fans be laughing then? What if Calvin deHaan slipped on an ice cube, fell, and re-injured his shoulder? We all know that's a possibility. Will you be "liking" that video? What if Travis Hamonic is introduced to a state of hypothermia, causing him to miss the start of camp? Is that worth it, Islander fans? Is it?
What I'm trying to say is that, while charity is good and all, maybe we should leave the silly videos to the fans and just let the players donate. Tune in next week for updates pertaining to Islanders merchandise on sale in various stores around the Island - eichiefs9

There's an awful lot of talk coming from this kid. It's almost as if he's actively looking for platforms to talk about how different he is and how great he will be. I dont mind the mindset, just the chatter and self-promotion. He should give the interview circuit a rest for a while and let his play talk for him come training camp. |

These blogs of hers are really hitting an all-time low. The bar gets lower and lower even when you think it can't get any lower. I'm not creative enough to imagine to what depths her blogs will continue to plummet. |

They could allow him to be the Team's spokesperson in the meantime.
He seems right at home & very interesting with the media. His post game pressers would be glorious. |

Honestly, he reminds me of DP...which is not at all to say his career will take the same left turn toward Disasterville...but just a similar supreme confidence, outspokenness, belief that he belongs among the elite in his age group, and desire to let anyone who asks know why he's different and special.
An attitude people will love if he succeeds, but will probably divide people if it gets in the way of on-ice success. |

The attitude is a bit gimmicky but it's also a little refreshing. That said, I really don't care. What I'm excited about is that we got a guy who was top-10 talent at the end of the first round and we didn't sacrifice a ton to get him. |

You think he has a PR agent hard at work? TSN ignores the Isles every chance they get. Bottom line, if the news outlet doesn't deem the story/topic newsworthy, it doesn't get published. Yes, he's outspoken but for good reasons. I don't think his reputation necessarily fits the "crime."
Looking forward to seeing him play at the next level. We may finally have a "Josh" to be proud of on the team. |

I love this kid josh ho san confidence. I hope he can back it up. Yes having him be as good as JT would be fine by any of us and would be biggest steal in draft in islanders history.
Lets see him make the team first. What a fear is, he doesn't make the team and then starts to blame the Islanders to not picking him.
But the Scenario I see is, He is legit and Capuano puts him on 4th line to learn how to grind. Nino Neidereitter saga part duex. |

Whats more disturbing: the fact that Dee does a piece on the Ice Girls or the apparent fact, according to the blog (yes I read it) that she couldn't make it in person this year, implying that she attends the try-outs for the Ice Girls every year? |

I just read that Thomas Kaberle has accepted a tryout with a NHL team this fall. It doesn't say what team it is. He is 36 yrs old. I wouldn't mind if it was the Isles |
