I was just thinking the same thing. I fully expect the list to be widened to 15 teams by close of business today. |

You missed the new sweater color discussion blog last week here. It was actually quite good, but started an heated argument about what constitutes yellow vs gold. Edge of your seat type stuff... |

Sounds compelling. Maybe he can get Dirk Brouda out of the Hall of Fame. Wait, he is a Maple Leaf, never going to touch that one.
Oh well, revisionist bloggers are the lowest form of a pretty low form of writers.
Next: Poo-poo vs Ca-ca. Compelling blogs.

Who won the cup that year? None of them. Who won the only other trophy with any real meaning? Ovi. Who is the best player in hockey? Crosby. |

Yes, but someone has questioned it. And we all know we cannot question something involving the Canucks without dealing with fan outrage. |

The only trophy that means anything is the Selke.
2 way hockey players trump Pure goal scorers because you are getting the most bang for the buck. |

I think how Ryan is analyzing these blogs, he should focus on Ted Lindsay winners rather than the Hart winners. Hart is most valuable player to your team. Although ovi and Sid may have played better, I think sedin especially carried his team that year. |

So since Crosby is not a selke nominee, he's not as good as Bergeron, toews, or kopitar? |

Where in my previous quote did I say they were BETTER players.
I said bang for the buck.
Funny thing about the LA kings who have won 2 of the last 3 cups is every center on their team plays all situations in the game. |

That's just making great moves by the GM. They stacked that team with great depth. |

Yes its called bang for the buck. Pittsburgh can't get great depth because they pay so much to 2 players who aren't 2 way players.
Crosby and Malkin are clearly 2 of the best offensive players in the game, but being good in the offensive Zone doesn't make you the best player in the NHL.
Datsyuk, Kopitar, and Toews play a way better all around game and they both have TWO cups to prove it.

Disagree. Pens just need to be smarter with the rest of the money they do have. |

Still voted on by people that are not in the game and have their own agendas to serve. |
