Poor guy's a dead man... If he's truly a long lost Sedin, he won't bother fighting the disease - but he may get a 10min misconduct while complaining about contracting it. - DrChristianTroy

I voted for Brown (PPQB's are a rare commodity around here), but I'm guessing Kirk McLean voted for someone else. |

What happened to this guy? He was a scoring leader for a small ahndful of years and next think I knew he was a Ranger then nothing. Injuries? - Jeropotato
Steve Moore sticking his elbow out, and trying to take his head off because he missed him didn't help.......he was never the same player. |

Spot on, hurt his elbow on that play as well. His wrist shot was never the same either. |

I'm not sure how anyone could come to the conclusion that the Canucks are the 'most improved' team in West - especially given what some teams in the West did this off-season. At best they've managed to tread water at several key positions, and they've got some very hard minutes to replace with Kesler gone and a pretty suspect collection of centres with which to do that. Plus, they've managed to accumulate so many 3rd-line-ish players that they're spilling out into both the 2nd and 4th lines, and blocking development opportunities for some of their better prospects.
They really better hope that Vrbata develops instant chemistry with the Sedins, Bonino proves he can handle more than sheltered minutes, someone compensates for the loss of Garrison's blue line production, and Miller fits in a whole lot better than he did in St. Louis - oh yes, and hope that dreadful years from the Sedins, Burrows, and Edler aren't anything but an anomaly. If anything, I would actually suggest that the Canucks head into the 2014/15 seasons with at least as many major question marks as any team in the NHL. |
