45 points for $1m is pretty decent IMO, regardless of when in the season he scored them.

More importantly for him, he played a full season for only the second time ever.

It all adds up to the master plan, of finishing well down in the standings and getting a lottery ticket in the sweepstakes of a deep draft. Once they lose 7 of the first 9 and bury themselves, the recriminations can start. By the new year, Carlyle will be out, and the team in disarray. We trade off Dion and a few other useful pieces like Lupul and ride it out until the end. Nonis gets fired and Shanahan takes over. Problem solved......we just have to eat this season and like it!
