Cooke's still an active player, so he doesn't qualify based on the Canucks.com rules.

His name gave me pause. He didn't really turn into the scourge of the NHL till after he left Vancouver.

As I look at the list again, one worthy player did escape my notice: Curt Fraser. 206 points in 348 games with the Canucks. Didn't notice his name this morning—I think he deserves to be among the top three candidates.

I also accidentally overlooked Michel Petit, a highly-frustrating defenseman who put up 24 goals and 81 points and was a minus-51 during six years with Vancouver. Longer tenure than Slegr, but perhaps the same tear-out-your-hair factor?

Curt Fraser was one tough mother.. I remember he one punch knocked out a couple of guys, including a black hawk if I'm not mistaken. He was a solid guy. I'd vote for him if he was listed.

"Ice Storms" - well that should be an interesting read, maybe not for us, as we've already discussed their fall from grace at length.

Canucks get Vrbata , Flames get Setogucchi, I can see these two teams battling it out for top spot.
