I like this. I'd also like to see Voracek play with Lecavalier just because it's clear Voracek is more of the credit passing type and Lecavalier a shooter. Schenn and Simmonds also might do a lot of good creating space for Giroux. I believe Schenn could become a front line player playing with Giroux. Most young players would benefit.

Maybe just me but the motivation to be in absolute best physical shape goes out the window when you a very slim chance at winning the cup in a realistic world.

Why Winger's defensive Job is to block the point, not too difficult.... Then again the Flyers did have trouble with that aspect last season..... G is the guy who has to backcheck on that line.

Every single forward needs to backcheck. The center is not the only player responsible for backchecking. And a winger also has other responsibilities once the puck is established in the defensive zone besides just covering the point.

As do I. I think they make the playoffs, and once in anything can happen.
