How that cap space looking for the flyers not good at moment so looks like you guys are going to miss out on bobby ryan looks like he coming to pittsburgh sources say - Palmer117
What?
Cap space is actually fine. There is this thing called injured reserve where you place players who can't play because of injury. The day before the season start we will have 2 million and change. Why would Ryan go to the pens? All the pens do is choke. How's Pitts cap space?
It's pretty much known that if he doesn't resign in ott that I'm picking him up at the airport on July 1st in Philly.

Using the LTIR is not exactly an ideal situation. The Flyers cap issues are manageable, but they're not exactly "fine". Depending on what they can move out, in terms of existing deals, and ho much the cap rises, they might not be able to afford Ryan next summer, if he does hit UFA |

i once ordered a couple scotches when a buddy of mine went to the men's room to surprise him when he got back that we were gonna drink like gentlemen in this dive bar. bartender put it in shot glasses like an idiot.
so when my buddy got back he figured it was just whiskey and did the shot. so i did too.
that friend was an bumhole though. real weirdo. |

have never had a japanese whiskey. i have heard of yamazaki while reading reviews but figured it is something i can't afford.
islays are too smokey for my taste. i like speysides and some highlands sound interesting but i haven't tried. |

They'll be able to afford a player like Ryan if that is the area they choose to go in. That won't be a problem. The question is that really the approach they should have. And if they should use available funds elsewhere. |

I think the Sens are going to be the worst team in the NHL this year and will and NEED to be in on the McDavid draft. The team is in trouble on and off the ice. They have lost 2 of their most popular players over the last couple years.
I wouldn't be surprised if they trade Ryan early this season. |

I agree, that team is in serious trouble. Not sure how to fix it but usually the first step is to admit it. |

I think they know the team stinks and are going after McDavid or Eichel. The only way to seriously improve your team in the modern NHL is thru the draft. That is especially true for budget team. I think they will finish worst than Buffalo this year. |

Should the Flyers choose to buyout one of or both of Lecavalier and/ Umberger, what kind of impact will this have on the Flyers cap? I think the Flyers should go after Bobby Ryan. If he really wants to be here and he can keep up the play he has most of his career, yeah I want him. Obviously there are better players out there but they're not available and most aren't targeting Philly like he might be. |
