I got to meet him as both our sons were in the flyer youth camp at skatezone... Real cool guy very down to earth. Glad to see he's a flyer alumni who's a permanent resident.

I disagree, he has much much to prove with consistency but he made a good first impression. He was one of the better players on the team in that series, period. Not just looked like he belonged, was one of the BEST players on the team at times- literally.

I agree that he made a good first impression, which is why I think he deserves a legitimate look and chance to make the team. I think he made a few plays, and didn't present as a liability away from the puck. But I think it's overstated that he was one of the best players on the team. And I don't think those games showed in any way that he's a proven NHL player. It simply showed he has potential.

So how does everyone feel about laughton maybe making the big club this year? Sorry if its been discussed i been out of the loop this summer. Got to meet him, stolarz and ghostibhere too. Laughton just has that aura of having a killer instinct. Just my opine bumt im looking forward to him in o&b
