what we witnessed last season was an historically bad hockey team

Great article..They were miles behind the cats (38 goals) for second to last GF. Excluding moulsons numbers because he was here for most of the season and vaneks numbers. So does stew, Gio , Gorges, mez + the progression of youth (Zem, Hogs, ennis) have 38 goals in them?

I feel they will be right around there but you must account for injurys, and as a result sadly the lamp will have dust on it again this year.

Great write up Mike. I love crunching numbers and I think you did a great job being optimistic yet realistic. Factor in injury time and maybe come player growth from the younger guys and I think we might be 5% lower than that #. Factor in some good luck and verteran leadership and maybe higher, who knows.

I really don't think it will be that bad. We suffered through a season visually and statistically so bad most of us probably never thought it would get that bad in our lifetime. I don't think we will be seeing 6-7 game losing streaks.
