for some reason the aspirin works better preventing clots on the arterial side
like the coronary arteries.
doesn't seem to work as well for venous clots.
I'm glad Kimmo is all right too, that is the main thing. - Marc D
I HAVE A GUESS
aspirin's MOA deals with the PNS right?
More interventions on the arteries than the veins nerve wise, right? Plus arteries have more smooth muscle around them for a drug to act on. A vein is basically just a tube.
There's my guess.
DISCLAIMER: I'm probably completely wrong
EDIT: I am completely wrong because I just remembered the MOA isn't PNS, it stops platelet coagulation. PNS is analgesics Told you I was wrong! |

I am not liking the October schedule. I think we would be lucky to come out of it with a 5-5 record. |

Lol ya I'm a RN in the ICU and I've seen lots of people have a condition close to timmo. It's not a big deal in the big pic and treatable it's just that he is more likely to suffer complications due to being more active than the average person

disclaimer....i didnt read the article but i like the concept. It may look silly but these players have not stopped drilling players into the boards while, the hitee is in a vulnerable position. Youth hockey has instituted placing a stop sign on the back of jerseys as a visual aid. If there is a "warning track" on the ice, though it may look silly, may help prevent a dangerous hit from occuring. |
