OK, am I the only one who doesn't know how to read these flippin charts??


I was thinking that I'd be able to show the boy that most goals are scored from the rectangle formed from the goal line to the top of the circle and between the face off dots, but I can't read what this chart says.....

Can anybody translate them into english for this poor unfortunate .......

Biishop was the 3rd best goalie at the time
Spezza declining
Ryan still signed for 1 more year and likely to resign
Karlsson here for the next 5+ years on one of the greatest contracts in the league.

Chara was the only mistake letting go aside from alfie, and both of them can be directed traced to terrible ownership at the time(s).

Your argument has more holes than swiss cheese my friend, no wonder since you cheer for the losing side.

edit: You conveniently, like all leafs fans forgot that your own team was unable to find a single player to play Sundin during his prime and instead left for greener pastures in vancouver.

Yashin became Chara and Spezza.. I don't really think Yashin supports your argument.

to be fair, it was in reply to an equally silly comment. also, some of it was valid, i wasn't all silly.

- heatley really did start declining (relatively speaking) almost as soon as he left ottawa
- havlat really was a broken player, injured all the time, never really live up to his potential......which continued after he left.
- alfredsson really did leave because of a crappy owner.....can't put that on the GM.
