CBS Sports reports coach Doug Marrone and Bills' team officials' tensions are starting to boil, and it recently led to an expletive-laden shouting match on the practice field.
Marrone and director of player personnel Jim Monos got into a heated exchange this summer to the point where "they were more or less MFing each other." GM Doug Whaley intervened, followed by team president Russ Brandon, but the expletives continued to fly. Marrone allegedly even said "go ahead and fire me." Per the report, Marrone has been known to refer to himself as "Saint Doug" because of his "miracle" work at Syracuse. He's also frequently clashed with players, most notably stud DE Jerry Hughes. Bills brass is said to be "bristled" at how Marrone has used certain players. Marrone may have the hottest seat in the NFL. He has to be the odds-on favorite as the first coach to be fired this season.

Mike Florio from NBC on Shredd and Regan "Who ever buys the Bills is not buying them for the privilege of employing Doug Marrone and Doug Whaley".
And If one more person talks down about Pegula saying he wont be a good Bills owner because he is going to keep the current management for too long, I am going to repeatedly stab them in the throat.
When he bought the Sabres he inherited a team with one of the longest tenured, most beloved coaches in Buffalo sports history. The coach, GM and many players had been to conference championships together. It was more than an easy decision. The most successful person in the Bills organization is a backup QB with a .500 record who got signed last week and hasn't taken a snap yet. Enough said.

I'm not a fan of this alleged ego but for the fiery and fierceness I am all for it. The last 14 years the head coaches of the Buffalo Bills were a bunch of oh well whoa is us no backbone sorry excuse for a coach. I am not saying that Marrone is a good coach but it beats the norm that us Bills fans are used to

When I bring that up, I usually say that in jest. The only thing is that I believe that Whaley might be retained a bit longer considering that he wasn't actually the one that hired Marrone (Nix did), and Pegula seems to love all things from Pittsburgh when it comes to sports. |

Like those 2 teams that played last night. That kind of success. Not being the best player on the worst team. Real success that they could extend to the fanbase. |

It really is a shame that the recent history of both our sports teams makes us think it has to be one of the other. I want a guy who both has backbone, and also isn't a clueless moron. There's nothing in the rules that says the two have to be mutually exclusive. |

Absolutely agree. It caught my wifes eye during season 3 so we watched the first 3 seasons on Netflix and made it a point to watch every episode each week. However we haven't caught the final season yet. Thankfully Netflix to the rescue. |

I became hooked in the first season. The line "go to a place where everyone is a jello shot away from alcohol poisoning. The one person there that can walk a straight line...that's your surveillance guy" is when I knew that it was going to be great. |

After watching last nights game if Marrone gets canned and I am Pegula (assuming he is the next owner) I am throwing a lot of money at Darrell Bevell the Hawks offensive coordinator, |
