He has Landy, MacK, and Duchene to play with the Avs, he can be on the Wing with Duchene, or at Center with Landy. He has more offensive options with the Avs. He is already competing for Selkes now with the Avs, finished 5th in voting.

So your strongest point is just your want as a leafs fan, its not like the Avs don't have what the "leafs can offer"

I just don't see the point of leaving now. He has done a lot with the old horses, but now with Nyquist, Tatar, Smith, DeKyser on board, its a whole new batch of young exciting players. Seems like they can be gearing up for a new generation of wings.

What point did you miss Playing Center with Landeskog?
Duchene, MacK, and ROR have all played the Center Winger role with the team, being deployed in situations that are best suited for their strengths. What point do you not get that he has a spot in the Top 6 with the Avs regardless of him being a Center

And that's just who's in the line up now. Mantha, Sproul, Mrazek, Ouellete round off the next wave of potential top end talent to come in. I see Babcock signing on for another three years and banging out once Datsyuk retires from the NHL. I think having a bonafide number one center is something that Babs needs. Another reason I don't think he'll go to the Leafs.

And no ROR doesn't cover a lot of ice, as he is only a marginal skater. He doesn't exert much effort out on the ice as he is smart, he positions himself well before the play develops. He isn't physical either, hes a great 2 way player bc he is skilled with his stick takeaways. He love to do his little stick lifts striping players with the puck and hitting a faster skater like duchene in stride for a fast break offense off of his created turn overs
