I thought of another angle as to why Pegula is getting the Bills. If I read correctly the team would technically be in his wifes name. That would give the NFL a female, minority owner. Something the very appearance conscious NFL is desperate for.

Nice blog detailing Meyers career. I agree that most of the blame for the way his career has gone lay on Regier and Ruff. The comparison to handing the reigns to the kids after Briere/Drury left is spot on. I think the often repeated "Regier overvalued his players" comment couldn't be more true.....especially when they're still too young. I have faith that Meyers will have a long career in the NHL...weather it be with the Sabres or someone else. I think at worst, he turns out to be a second paining D-man and at best, he's on a teams top pairing.

I thinks its almost comical listening to this dude in interviews. We got behind Alex Van Pelt, JP Losman, Trent, Fitz. We're so done following bums. Its like, NEXT. Me and the guy who split seasons at work are basically using the games as an excuse to be out all day at friends houses watching the other games.
