if nothing else, skip to like 4:20 when he starts making the drink while reciting from memory 19th century whisky-based prose. its pretty awesome, IMHO

i have never enjoyed a bourbon with ice. every time i order one on the rocks i regret it - Shutdown
i admit that i like most of them with at least a cube or some water.
anything over 90 proof i definitely like to add the cube/water to cool it down a bit. the 1792 is 46.85%/93.7 proof so it's a cuber for me for sure.
some people also claim the water "opens up the 'nose' and taste" but i don't know for sure what they're talking about because at least a little bit of me is embarrassed for people when they talk that way.

sometimes when i just want to get poopfaced i pour my failed experiments into shotglasses and either drink them slowly or, if they were a bad enough experiment, i just down them.
jack daniels whiskey comes to mind. not a fav of mine. also the george dickel whisky. the one with the black label.
