just a favourite city of mine since i went with my bud 3-4 years ago, it was spring break and my buddy's buddy plays for the kings, so we were like (frank) it, let's go see the kings play in columbus, but columbus is not a great spring break destination, and we're both big fans of live music, whiskey and bbq, so we went to nashville for a few days and watched the preds play the wings, it was also march madness time so there were people from all over for that too, so it was a great time.

i went again last summer with my buddy and we brought two other buds along. one of them almost stayed because of a girl, they spent christmas together and he hasn't talked to her since.

and now probs going with my dad this year.

jazz after an hour is annoying as dopps at 1am

although the live cooking of fish and various shellfish was kinda romantic as you see their lives snuffed out

update: i hated buffalo trace the first time i tried it but i don't hate it anymore

Good to hear. Buff Trace for the price is a good value bourbon.

Nashville should have some good Bourbon finds. I used to travel a bit into the States for work and found some great bourbon at times. I stumbled on a bottle of George T. Stagg a few years ago in a liqour store in Miami Beach. Couldn't believe it when i scanned the top shelf and saw it. Still have about half the bottle, that stuff is insane, like 134 proof. But very good.

Biggest regret: not buying a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle 20 year old for like $150 back in 2010 when i was in San Francisco. I have one or two shots of Pappy left from a bottle I bought about a year before that. now that stuff is impossible to get and goes for well over $500 from what I've read online.

We had the Four Roses Single Barrel in my area a few weeks back, I picked up a bottle. One of my favovrites. I just checked the lcbo app, still a few bottles in Ontario right now.

I get frustrated with how hit and miss things are. Sometimes there's nothing good at all, other times there is but only in Toronto, other times there's lots of good stuff but they don't promote/advertise it.

Re:Stagg, there is a more widely available version now called Stagg Jr. Is a bit less potent at around 134 proof...not as good as the original Stagg, but worth checking out if you like the high test stuff.
