i didn't take that solo trip today.

i should have taken that solo trip today.

i would've put on fleetwood mac's rumo(u)rs, first kinda as a joke, but then i would've gotten into it, and before you know it i'd be 20 minutes outside of ontario giving it another listen. but then on the way back i would've put on qotsa's first album. but that wouldn't take up the whole trip, so just a little more fleetwood mac just to tide me over until i got home with some eagle rare.

it could've been a good day.

i know it's almost sacrilege to say, but rated r and era vulgaris are by far at the bottom of the qotsa totem pole for me. i really love about half of each but the other halves do very little for me in relation to all of qotsa's other stuff.

wow. i feel that way about era vulgaris but i love rated r from start to finish like it were a child of mine.

either way, their worst song is better than most band's best song. so we can't really go that wrong with them.
