see, as a canadian, i almost romanticize wild turkey because of how american it sounds. seems like the real deal

regular wild turkey is better than jim beam but still not great compared to like bulleit and whatnot but 101 holds up

agreed, the 101 is a very nice bourbon and well priced. the 80 proof is trash though

i tried knob creek. made bbq bourbon meatballs and drank some. it's good

forgot to mention i had the makers 46 last thursday night and it was very good.

4 months late here, but Mrs Schuter got me a bottle of Wild Turkey Rare Breed for Christmas. Hadn't seen a bottle of it around at the LC in a few years.I recommend if you like your bourbons closer to the barrel proof side of things.

i also forgot to mention my christmas bourbons which included a woodford reserve, a four roses gift pack that came with a nice glass and some weird bartender tool, and someone got me a gift pack of a bottle i never heard of that wasn't very good but is stocked away for a rainy day.

i also got a set of those whiskey glasses that look like they're tipping over but aren't.


EDIT: oh and a vanilla crown royal which is nice but something you can't drink more than one glass of at a time.

when i drink buffalo trace i always think to myself "i love this. eagle rare can't be that much better than this, can it?" but then every time i drink eagle rare i'm reminded that i do indeed love it even more.

of course, i guess this will always be a fluid situation. i still need to get my hands on a bottle of w.l. weller because i really think a wheated bourbon by these guys may just change the way i see the world. yes, the entire world.
