usually the inventory is pretty close, a unit or 2 difference, if they say they have 12 and find none in the store, it is sitting in the back doing nothing

tried it again. last time i said i preferred the knob creek over the elijah, but i've since been able to try a whole bunch of bourbons, and i'm getting an idea of what i do and don't like. and i gotta say, knob creek is nowhere near the top for me anymore, and the elijah is awesome.

I've been meaning to revisit Knob Creek, but I've never been a huge fan...I'll admit I haven't had it in at least 5 years though, so might be time to give it a whirl.

EH Taylor Jr
Barrel Proof Bourbon
2015 Release
Product Code: 30724
Price: $69.99
"Crafted from hand-selected barrels, this bourbon is bottled directly from the barrel; uncut and unfiltered at more than 125 proof. It reflects the way whiskey was produced in the days before Prohibition, when Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. was the owner of Buffalo Trace Distillery. Drawn from barrels aged in warehouses constructed over a century ago under Taylor's watchful eye, the taste is smooth, yet powerful and uncompromising, just like its namesake."
—Distiller's notes

i'd try it but that 125 proof sounds menacing.

I've had the EH Taylor, but not this barrel proof version. Looks intriguing.

Gotta be careful with those barrel proof (frank)ers, they can be devastating, but are usual complex and tasty.

George T Stagg is the ultimate in barrel proof greatness.

my general practice doctor has saturday morning hours like one saturday per month. in the summer i always go for the saturdays so i don't have to rush home from work and get a shower and try to get to his office on time.

it was just a check up. (frank) it. i feel fine. except for my aches and pains, this constant heartburn, these weird headaches, and this pesky aids.
