preaching to the choir bud

(i think no one knows is the most perfect rock song since 2000)

- Shutdown

i don't know how i would be able to narrow it down to pick which i think is their favorite song.

i think it would break my brain to even try it.

i have to admit though that no one knows might end up the winner if i tried. it actually makes my blood pump faster inside of me.

i should get special perks like the ability to change thread titles and ip ban d0pps. i just found out yesterday i have like 90,000 posts here. i deserve these magical abilities for that.

also, i am now drinking the four roses yellow label. so smooth. so mellow.

Good call on the Eagle Rare kick, haven't had a bottle in a few years, but I've always enjoyed that one.

I'm desperate to get my hand on a bottle of the Eagle Rare 17 year old, but they only bring like 5 bottles into Ontario each year, and I believe they are assigned by a lottery system. Same with the other Buffalo Trace boutique offerings (George T Stagg, William Larue Weller, and one other one.)

Not bourbon, but aged in bourbon barrels. Broke this out after the funeral yesterday. Delicious.

The 12 year old usually comes around here once or twice a year, and is very reasonably priced. From what I've read, it is basically Pappy Van Winkle a few years younger and without the name.

The Special Reserve is the one that is impossible to get your hands on.

Bourbon becoming hipster drink of choice has done terrible things to the good bourbon availability. (frank)ing hipsters.

hipsters do great things: they gentrify bad neighbourhoods and get poor ethnics out. they open up good restaurants and bars. and you can make fun of them which is good for entertainment.

there's this amazing hipster fried chicken place with no sign outside and a great selection of bourbon. it's a great place. i hate the people in it, but it wouldn't exist without them.

These are things, i'll agree. But when I can't get a bottle of Pappy 20 year old when I visit the US from time to time, I get a bit ornery.

Those hipster joints are pretty sweet though.
