Wilson is better yes. But he is not asked to do anything more than manage the game thats it. He averages 200 yards a game. Thats not someone whos asked to do alot with his arm. He has a historically good defense and a running game that has been tops for a few years now.

They do so quit giving people flack for being optimistic. Not every qb starts out as a stud when drafted. Im sure san diego would much rather have a do over on the brees/rivers situation.

Bills roughed them up. I don't think there was a Bear besides Forte that didn't get a good shot at some point

EJ was great in first half, only incomplete was chandler drop

coaching staff really was conservative in second half, and it almost cost them the game

Even with the chances he did get in the 2nd half, he was pretty ineffective. Most weeks, a performance like this loses the game. Fortunately, for him and the Bills, Chicago has an atrocious defense.

This game reminded me of J.P. Losman's performance at Houston in 2005, and Trent Edwards in Washington in 2007. They both hung around until late in the game and made a couple plays uncharacteristic of the rest of their careers. At the end of the day, they left a lot more questions than answers, but allowed us to feel good for a week.
