I think he meant bench him for a game, as in a healthy scratch. - jmatchett383
I think you will see that with this being Berubes team. Also I think they have more options this year with guys like Blair Jones, Ryan White, Laughton, Bellemare, Akeson to an extent, Alderson, Cousins.

Yeah, a few guys can technically play both (add Schultz in there, too), but Schenn's still the only natural right-sider in the bunch. - Tomahawk
No, YOU'RE a natural right-sider.
I'm a righty, but I always liked playing the left side.
You know who would be a nice RH shot? Shea Weber. Maybe we should trade for him. |

I'm in 2 leagues this year. So I lost twice yesterday. Eddie Lacy killed me in one, and Lesean McCoy killed me in another.

It truly is addicting. I never cared as much about random players on horrible teams as I do now |

I have Lacy in one of mine. I may survive it though. I just need a solid game from rivers to win in both leagues |

Blair Jones should be about 5th in the line of call-ups. I think he's destined for a full year in the AHL, barring crazy injuries. Ryan White and Laughton are going to play center, not wing. Bellemare is a total unknown: could be the next Raffl, or the next Pyorala. Akeson and Alderson will probably get legit shots at camp. Cousins has a LONG WAY to go.
That's part of the problem. There's no one on the farm who's really there to challenge our wingers for a spot, as it is now. |

Don't get me started. I am just about to draft for year ELEVEN of our keeper league. The most awesome part is drafting rookies even if they aren't going to be that good in their rookie year. Last season I was able to draft Nichuskin, I hope he makes some strides this year. I have had Giroux since day one. Ive also had Steve Mason riding my bench since he won the Calder. That certainly started to pay off.
We have a roster of 24 players. Get to keep 14 from year to year.

Imagine the NHL doing that...every year you get to keep 14 guy and the rest can be re-drafted.
That'd make for more interesting talk than Zac Rinaldo |

I need Ryan Matthews and the Arizona defense to both have monster games in my autodraft league. I doubt it.
In my other league I need huge games from Reggie Bush and Larry Fitzgerald. But my opponent has Rivers going and is already ahead by ten points.

All you guys have sure helped to educate me in terms of finding great rookies. This year I have pre-ranked nothing but recent draftees who will probably be in the NHL this season. My team has gotten old and I need to rebuild for the future.
Interestingly, one of the teams in my league has both Crosby and Ovechkin, and has never finished above 3rd. I need forwards myself.

I'm in a Dynasty League...who you draft is who you keep. Only changes are trades and waivers.
30 man NHL roster, 25 man minor league roster with NHL games played as a guideline. We have some relatively inactive GMs, so if there's a need for replacements, we're looking for new guys to step in.
