I think they have one of the most talented teams out there. If Manuel is competent they will compete IMO

I know. Every game I've been to for the last 10-12 years always had that feeling like it might be the last. And then we would go lose most times and it made it feel worse. Now we can focus on football.

I went to look at the tickets just for fun at their website and it claimed only club seats were left, I clicked anyways, server can't handle things right now.

Tom Brady getting old will hopefully help speed things up. Its really been insanely bad luck to have the league switch to a 4 team division and we get stuck with one of the best teams ever in the regular season during that time. Being down 0-2 in the division virtually every year and having to fight with 12 other teams for 2 wild card sports has hurt. If we were in most other divisions we would have at least had a sprinkle of success here and there. Now that can all change.

The big piece of the puzzle is obviously the team staying, but much like when he took over the Sabres, you need a proper management team to have on ice/field success.

To me the on field success is secondary, the threat of the Bills leaving was very real.

No doubt. Some have been still criticizing Pegula, saying they wont win. Its like ok, they wont win any games in Buffalo if they move.

Manning had offensive weapons but his defense was porous.. having a great QB can hide a lot of deficiencies.. much like a goalie, they are a position you build your team around or you have to be great at everything else to make up for it

The Bills have formally announced they are being purchased by Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula.

The sale is rumored to be worth $1.2 billion, and fully expected to keep the team in Buffalo. It will become official when the league votes on October 8. Jon Bon Jovi can get to work on his next album, and leave the kind people of Western New York in peace.

After watching the games this weekend, the Bills aren't on the same level as the 49ers, Colts, Seahawks and a few others. But they play the games for a reason. If you can compete in all 3 phases like they did Sunday, anything is possible.

I heard he did an interview recently saying he wants to play another 10 years. Good for him for wanting it, but I don't know that his body will allow him to. I guess the first part is having the drive to do it. Let's see if his body can hold out that long. I doubt it can, but I suppose it's possible.
