Just wanted to get everyones thought on the LeSean tipgate going on. I have read things about people condeming the owner of PYT and LeSean. My thoughts are even if the service wasn't great you still leave a tip. That is how they are paid. You still ate the food, got drinks and probably whatever else you needed. I think it was more insulting leaving the .20 as a tip then not leaving anything. And I understand people saying just because he is a millionaire he doesn't have to hand out cash. I understand. But I also can't defend LeSean knowing that he is not the most reputal person either. Remember the twiiter war with his baby mama, throwing a woman off a party bus and also the times he no showed to appearances he was supposed to make. - J35Bacher
I agree with McCoy. If service is poor, the tip will be poor. Tips are service based & the server admittedly forgot an appetizer and ignored the table after because they were rude.
20 cents is extreme, but if I know most of my salary is off gratuities, I'm going to provide excellent service. |

Absolutely. And, while extreme, 20 cents is also a message.

They were both wrong. McCoy should have left a tip and the owner shouldn't have posted the receipt.
I've had friends who have been to PYT and they said the food is average and the service is horrible unless you're friends with the server. |

The fact that this is a national story is disheartening. That's what I think.
Who (frank)ing cares. People get stiffed every day and it doesn't make the news. |

Yes. Bolland is still an effective player. He's just grossly overpaid. |

I worked in the food industry during college so I have an appreciation for them. Ive never had horrible service before. I always tip 20% and if I know the servers or owner, I will tip more. |

So .20 is a message? I just find it more insulting that between 3 people that is what they thought was a good message at the table. 20% on the bill would have been a little over 12 dollars. You couldn't have made the message with say just a 5 dollar tip? I think .20 is more being an ass then sending a message. Also what about the others at the table. If they got their whole meals and everything was right then they couldn't throw some cash down? |

So was I. If LeSen wanted to send a message then not going back would have been fine. Leaving an insulting tip is something an immature college student would do. I find it disheartening that people just don't have any common sense or curtisy anymre. Also there were three others at the table. What is there excuse for not leaving tips. |

And ignoring a table because you don't like their demeanor isn't Richard-ish? Sorry, but if you don't feel like doing your job, you don't deserve a reward.

He's also even more injury prone than Vinny. In the last five seasons Bolland has only played in 234 games out of 376. |

You aren't entitled to a tip if you do a poopty job, I don't care how bad the food service industry is. |

The reverse is, after providing poor service, a server expecting a tip.
I generally over tip. I give at least 20-25%, as long as the service is decent. If a server does exceptional, I'll tip even more. But if the service is bad, slow or if I have to hunt down the server, that will be reflected in the tip. |
