Why are you here? - Horseguts
Why are we here? One of life's great mysteries isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence? Or is there really a God, watching everything. You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know man, but it keeps me up at night. |

Dirty (frank)ing Oilers bullpoop play. More garbage from a garbage franchise. That Lotz kid is going to be the Canucks back up after Lack outplays Miller by Christmas. Mickeymouse organization running around like goons trying to intentionally ruin another teams season. Despicable. - DTF69
You would know a garbage organization when ya see one. 44 or 45 years of failure now and counting??? |

I can help you with part of that, there is no god. I would like to think we're all some part of a greater plan but we're not, we're all insignificant little life forms on a planet that is but a small part of the entire cosmos but all that aside, why are you even here in this thread? |

There's a fine art to trolling bud, you have to be able to do it without being so open about it, you're obvious in your attempts which means you actually suck at it. Go into the Leafs thread and improve, if you're too obvious there you'll get banned so it teaches you to walk the line. |

I agree, but man was I ever impressed by tkachev and Yakimov. Both played great games. Gernat was terrible in his own end though.
I think the thing I was most impressed with was Tkachev's willingness to back check, usually you don't expect a player like him to play hard 200ft but he did |

I was thinking the same thing about Tkachev, the guy plays hard in all three zones. I hope he continues to impress because maybe someday we could see 4 skilled Russians on the Oilers.
That said though, I don't put much stock into game 1(or any game really) of a prospects tourney. |

Yakimov was probably the most notable forward for either team in the first two periods. Never heard of him. What's his story? |

It was a promising game from him. With the size we have developing down the middle it certainly gives us the oppotunity to try smaller skilled wingers like holmberg and tkachev which is nice. |

He is a big dude that we drafted and has been climbing up the prospect chart quickly, he played last year in the KHL. He is kinda a secret to fans of other teams but most Oilers fans that follow the prospects have high hopes for him. |
