Interesting to see how Hextall has had some subtle changes. Hopefully they pay dividends down the line.....great to see things starting up again. |

Yeah, effective management is all about getting that mountain of little details right.
Really glad to have Hexy as GM |

Morin with another year in Q and then the AHL and then maybe the NHL. Man, they weren't kidding when they said long term prospect. |

Eh, you can look at any developmental ruote and find the best case scenario. The reality is three years of Coburn/A Mac, a very solid 2nd pairing, being used as 1st pairing. |

Not really, hard to believe that in a 3 year period they won't trade for a dman or sign one in free agency. |

Yes, patience is easy to talk about. Personally, I don't think they can afford to just wait and hope that one of the prospects pans out. That 3 years or whatever, maybe shorter, is just for one of them to make the team. Then how long before one or more can truly become a top pairing player they can build around? Longer, much longer? |

Yup, this how I see it.
No knock against Morin. He should develop how they best see fit. It's just really perplexing they went as long as the did under Homer without taking a more D men in the first two rounds. |

Is Powe a sleeper to make the NHL team as a 4th liner?
From what I remember he was a very good skater. Maybe he's lost a step, I haven't really followed his play since he left here. |

hockey never ends for me. ever. right now my dining table is covered in laces, tape, x-actos, scissors, velcro, and scrap padding from various knee pads, thigh wraps and c/a's i've tried over the years. i'm frankensteining some pieces onto to my current c/a unit to beef up the shoulders. i've gotten 3 nasty stingers in my last 2 games on both shoulders. it's enough already. yesterday i added a layer to the bottom of the torso area.
yesterday i was designing mock InGoal covers for some fellow goalies in one of my FB goalie groups. i have another one to do today.
oh. yeah, the flyers. |

Devils invite Fedetenko and Jordin Tootoo.
I can already see the latter running Mason. |

I doubt it. Raffl or Laughton will be 4C IMO. |

Agreed. I think Powe is a vet that can help some kids down in the AHL gear up for the big league. I dont see him in the NHL barring some sort of emergency call up. |
