i like the more classic/team oriented approach of his current mask rather than personal, non-hockey related imagery.

it's also pretty typical for a player, especially one suffering from an indefinite one, to quietly disappear and really not be around the team, even when they're rehabbing. i expected nothing different from emery. it's a shame. that team maybe could have won it all if he were healthy. i'm just glad to see him battle back and i like that he returned here. it sickens me, of course, that he won a cup in chicago, even as a backup - not for him personally - but just another example of a player winning elsewhere.

A good friend of mine is producing the tv spots for the Rangers. So he was on location by their upstate NY rink shooting McDonaugh, Girardi, Staal and St. Louis - and he's chatting them up about a good friend of his that introduced him to hockey and how he loves hockey because of this friend (me). Girardi keeps asking well what team does your friend like? The minute he tells them the Flyers all the Rangers players immediately start laughing and even busting out impersonations of all the Flyers players. Once that cat was let out of the bag he said the Rangers could not stop talking smack about the Flyers.

Pretty much everyone. Little sloppy, but nobody stood out as bad. Gostisbehere, Aube Kubel, Sanheim, Hagg, Straka all looked good, Stolarz as well
