It's most valuable to his team.
If Boston doesn't have Rask they still finish top 4 in the east. If the Habs don't have Price I doubt they make the playoffs.
Sorry for saying I think Price is a very valuable player in the league and maybe one of the top 3 most valuable to his team last year.
Won't happen again...promise. - stormey
it's still a ludicrous argument. it's why Theodore and Hasek won the Hart while winning the Vezina too. it's why Pronger won the Norris while winning the Hart. it's why when a forward wins the Hart he's at least nominated for the Lester B Pearson.

@StarSports
Colton Orr, McLaren get Toronto Maple #Leafs' message; had summer training with figure skater.
Wasn't the biggest complain last season about them is they wouldn't do their enforcer jobs properly?
That'll toughen 'em up! |

Can't believe I had the audacity to suggest that Price was one of the more valuable players TO HIS TEAM in the league.

Interestingly enough, in original six era there were times when one goalie won the hart and another won the vezina.
Of course, back then the Leafs used to win cups so it's not much of an argument. |

Johnson was 17-4 last year.
17 and 4!!!!
you cannot tell me that Rask is more valuable to the B's than Price was to the Habs last year. |

i'm on the price banwagon.
i'm just not sure that with a tandem of any combination of those three the bruins don't drop in the standings.
rask was fantastic last year. |

Well if you think that Rask...who won the Vezina...was more valuable to his team than Price was to the Habs then you win the argument. I guess. |

can't we put aside the true meaning as it's written? of the MVP award?
it goes to the best player. and that best player is usually valuable to his team. |
