The worse is what confidence have we shown in him? Added Nikitin and Fayne along with Aulie as a depth guy. The Oilers are then always pumping up Marincin/Klefbom/Nurse in the media. I don't even know that they have room for the guy.


Going into next year these are your 7 guys, barring a trade. Even with a trade there isn't a lot of room.

I don't know that Klefbom making the NHL at some point this year would be considered rushing him. If he doesn't have a spot that is his to lose going into next year's camp we really have to question how good he really is.

Nurse would be 7 coming into camp trying to push Ference down so I don't think it's exactly rushing him. Could go down to OKC very easily.

I would have no problem with Nurse spending a year in the AHL. I can see Klefbom solidifying his NHL roster spot in the second half of this season.

Not sure Klefbom is ranked higher than Marincin- even potentialwise-

Pedigree alone klefbom is higher.
Before nurse, klefbom was the only dman we had that could even be considered close to bluechip.

Reality and development are much different of course, but the organization has always seen klefbom with a higher potential.
