I don't get being so upset by losing one non-playoff game to where I would need to feel better by jeering opposing fans much less kids. Most games I go to are away games and I the worst I got was good-natured ribbing.

My rule of thumb used to be: I only go if someone else is paying. My old boss used to take us once after our christmas party every year and drop a few thousand in cash on the table. It was fun, but got old real quick.

The issue was with the hours, pay and treatment of the women doing the job. The Flyers didn't want any part of the crap that was coming so they got out in front of it. The presentation from the Delta Dental Ice Girls to what they have been running out there the last few years was spiraling down the drain.

To me it was embarrassing. You know what I need in my life? A picture with 10 girls young enough to be my daughters paid to be dressed in something just north of a bikini. I guess I'll just never understand that thinking. Why would you be grinning over that picture like it was some accomplishment?

said this on FB....... My only objection was the last few yrs they discriminated against female hockey players. Remember the first few yrs some of the girls actually wore hockey skates. And were hockey players. They started to make the tryouts all about figure skating. Not sure what that had to do with cleaning the ice lol. personally I can't stand the fact they have to stop the game several times a period (altho I do understand the need) and the dumb ass loudness of the music and announcements. Guess I am getting old but I do miss the old Spectrum where the noice wasn't artificial.

It was only really fun when I was 18. Just cause I was legally allowed but its a monumental waste of money and yes it gets old, fast.

I could see Schenn and Coburn being retianed as Vets to help with the kids as they are filtered in. Depending how del zotto plays this year he could find his way onto this team. Grossmann could be a trade chip and so could Streit if he waves his NTC.

Went a couple of times, not really my thing. Was more intrigued by the waitress girls who had clothes on.

Most strippers, well maybe its just up here.. Are pretty meh. Fake boobs, and I can find a prettier girl on the street. One that isn't shooting meth up her ass.
