I created my team the other day. Haven't picked anyone yet though. The new layout is terrible - HonkFortheGoose
Agreed. I am hoping the Capt. EO sees everyone's frustration with the new format and tells IT to change it back. |

I was just looking at the players. I tend to pick my goalies first and work from there. It seems like all the guys that have 3 games the first week are also the ones with the highest cap hit. And they're matchups are all really tough. |

That is pretty much what I do as well. Start with goalies, then defense. Cheap. The problem I had this year was trying to find Stamkos. I sorted by name to find him, but then I could not sort back by last year's pts and had to start over. |

Yes, I am doing it. I saw you had a great year and won your division. Last year was my worst year since joining the site. Did not make the playoffs.
I saw on the Fantasy thread that they messed up the playoff schedule, I think because of the Olympics, and people got screwed. At least you got something out of the season. Congrats! - rmiethaner
Thanks .. Thats what it was .. olympics They used a previous week roster and threw it in the playoffs. When no hockey was playing .

I wonder if the format will be different for the score sheet as well once the games begin and we can't post our lineups in the thread. I always like seeing what other people chose. |

Yeah, I really like this lineup too. If you can get a full roster of max game players, that usually works out. I forgot about Gallagher and his salary. That is a good one.

LOL! WHICH GAME WERE YOU WATCHING? YOU'RE A DERP, FOR REAL. I SAW THE WHOLE THING ON AND OFF WITH THE SOUND MUTED ON MY COMPOOTER. Going to Richmond tomorrow? - Dr3aMWeav3r
To set the record straight, this was a response to my brother's post. He and I both lurk in these forums mostly, and I never see him post so when I saw it, I thought I'd mess with him. He went to the game and I had to watch it from my dorm room, so being jealous, I wanted to give him some poop. But it just goes to show, I write something about hockey around here, no one discusses really; I troll my brother, I'm the most popular guy in here for an hour .
Anyway, looks like the 1st line will be our primary(sole) source of offense |

That's usually my game plan. Start with goalies. Top 2 D. In a normal week, I try to fill my roster with as many guys as possible that have 4 games. But for a bit of variety, I'll take some that have 3. |

I don't think that there is much to discuss about the first line being the primary source of offense. Pretty much a given.
Edit: Unless line combos are changed up because of really good chemistry and the second line takes advantage of playing against weaker lines. |

I just missed the playoffs. Had 1 loss too many. There were a few weeks I missed setting my lineup. Got lucky once or twice and won anyway. But it still bit me in the end and I just missed out. |
