Rosehill is a viable option as the 13th forward but not the best option, IMO. I would rather have Rinaldo in that role or an expanded version of it. - NickTheKid87
As a 13th forward Rosehill is cheap and fine. If it were someone like Courturier or Giroux or Schenn that got hurt for a longer period of time then I would expect them to bring up someone who fits that need better like Straka, Laughton, Leirer or Alderson |

I am lucky: I get a media parking pass (free) for all Flyers games. They have raised paid parking at the Wells Fargo Center to $20 this season. Some of my fellow media members were griping that the commissary meals at WFC are now $12 (up from $10 last season). I skipped the meal at Monday's game but it wasn't because of the price. - bmeltzer
I cannot believe the Wells Fargo Center/Flyers increased parking this year. What an absolute joke. I was shocked when I went down to the game on Monday. |

I just don't see why we needed Stortini, even with the Phantoms. - PhiFaninEdm
This. I'm sure he's a nice guy, and I knowing fighting is his meal ticket, but there are just so many better options. I'd rather stick with Mathers as your go-to if needed, and let the other guys like Manning/Holmstrom/Lauridsen handle matters as they arise. |

Unless I have a free parking pass or I'm with friends and we all chip in, I always take SEPTA. Luckily my house is near a train station and my girlfriend goes to Temple so I'll park there and we'll take the subway. |

Should be interesting to see how his offense progresses in Juniors this year. He'll be 19 and likely the PP quarterback. If he's going to make a jump in offense, this would be the year - PhillySportsGuy
For sure, he'll get tons of mins on a solid Rimouski team and should see a big boost in his numbers. |

Jetro is $10, $5 if they know you. I got an in. It's on the other side of the Linc, but for the $15 discount, I'll make the trek. |

how many true "enforcers" are in the league today? - jak521
Define "true enforcer". I feel like that is a grey area.
John Scott, Brian McGrattan, Tom Sestito, Chris Neil, Colton Orr, Shawn Thornton, Matt Carkner, Brandon Prust, Rinaldo
Do they fit the description? |

Cap allowing, I still think a cup of coffee with the Flyers, up to 9 games and even as a healthy scratch, would do wonders for him. Just being around the team and seeing how they operate on a day-in/day-out basis would be great for him before going back to juniors. |

I park there and walk under the 95 overpass to get to the arena because I refuse to pay to park in the WFC. I'll park in the Linc when it's cold and I have my son, but otherwise....

Rinaldo is not an enforcer.
He's more of a pest. I'd even say Chris Neil isn't really an enforcer. He takes a regular shift (above the 4th line) for Ottawa, I think. Prust is another one who may not be an enforcer.
Otherwise, the rest of those guys just aren't good at ice hockey. |

Prust is pretty good defensively. Neil, Orr, Thornton and McGrattan though fight that definition. The rest are on the fence, IMO. |

Yes, yes, yes, no, yes, no, yes, no, no. Rosehill is one as well. Derek Dorsett (may he burn in hell) is, more or less. Ryan Reaves, Tim Jackman, Eric Boulton, Zenon Konopka, and Kevin Westgarth fall into that category as well. |

Well thats what an enforcer is in todays NHL. They require that you can somewhat play hockey. Believe me when I say Brandon Prust is absolutely counted on to the drop the gloves when needed. Watch CH 24 on NHL network. He prides himself on being a good fighter. |

My wife refuses to walk under the overpass because it used to have that makeshift shanty town under there and the bums freaked her out. I know it's cleaned out now, but the new fence is a PTA. I just walk through the Linc, takes an extra 2 minutes. |

We're just arguing semantics now. Rosehill isn't nearly as good as Prust, whether you call them both "enforcers" or not. |

Wayne Simmonds is also counted on to drop the gloves when needed, but he's not an "enforcer." There are players out there who have little to no skill (Jon Scott being the best example) like the ones I listed. |

Agreed. It's like arguing Crosby vs. Giroux. They're both superstars, but they're on completely different levels. I think it's the difference between "enforcer" and "fighter." I'd call Prust a fighter, but not an enforcer.
Edit: Yeah, what you just said. |

I parked in the actually stadium lots maybe 3 or 4 times during events (Flyers, Phillies, Eagles, concerts) because the walk is well worth it for the drop in price. |

Probably about as much as Stortini was. All he did all game was lurk around and try to get players to fight him. It was a bit embrassing.
Again, I know that's his role, but come on! |

For the sake of consistency, we'll call players who do little more than fight "goons" rather than enforcers. Rosehill, Orr, etc. would be goons, that way Prust could still be an enforcer. |
