That's pretty childish to start ragging on your former employer though. |

Kind of funny, but I have no real beefs with the way they televise Canucks games on Sportsnet, they had it on a different Sportsnet channel last night not sure if that played any part in the "production values" or w/e he was picking on.
My beef with sports net is the stuff on Connected. Seems like they are showing less Canucks stuff and it is almost a sure thing there is Toronto filler in every show whether it is the Blue Jays, Leafs or something MLSE related. And it looks like they replaced the older guys like Taylor with young inexperienced/cheap kids that are lacking experience and knowledge... little in the way of chops.
Is it just because he was let go that Sportsnet should have changed the way they show Canucks games? He was let go because he was long in the tooth so anything that he deems long in the tooth should be changed? Sounds a bit of sour grapes |

Yea they just talked about slogging through all the Blue Jays stuff, I have no problem watching games on Sportsnet as long as TSN is still doing NHL analysis. |

I think it would be if it weren't under new ownership. His beef I think is that they've got a heavy hitter owner now in Rogers and it's still the same old. |

Hunter Vey Kassian - A_SteamingLombardi
I'll tell you this listening to 1040 today. One thing they pointed out was if player look like they lack confidence they are essentially garaunteed to be sent down.
Hunter Shinkaruk does not lack confidence. |

Bob McKenzie is usually pretty good.
Too bad both networks flog Toronto stuff, but TSN is better for league wide coverage. Sportsnet was better for regional, but with the change in ownership it appears we aren't seeing the regional stuff anymore I guess that means going to the Canucks website for post game stuff. |

Shink Jensen and Horvat should be given a chance to play.
Cost, enthusiasm ,scoring chances are just a few reasons how they can help the team.
If Nitushkin can make it then these guys should be ready too. |

There has to moves for all 3 to fit. While I can see all of them making it others need to be move for them to fit. I know 1 of them is for sure in and probably for the season.

With 5 TSN channels, and Sportsnet and SN360, you would think there would be something available for more regional coverage. Right now 4 of the TSN channels tend to be the same thing.

Can we not move Mathias Higgins and or Hansen supremely easily in favor of the young young guys. I'm sure they can match the production of those guys why not something like this
Sedin Sedin vrbata
Shink Bonino Kassian
Vey horvat Burr
Mathias Richardson Dorsett
I'd way rather run with something like that maybe keep Higgins but you can't win Ling term without letting young guys play care and point LA and Chicago just put them in while the twins can still be a safety net don't see why were afraid of moving 3rd liners who have plateaud
What would Lack Jensen Hansen and a pick get us from the Jets they need goaltending badly. Could that get a Ladd? |

If only one makes it, it has to be Jensen. Anything else is a demotion for him and not exactly best for his development.
My guess is that Shink will play in Utica. Horvat will get his 9 games with the big club and get a chance if someone is traded or on LTIR. |

Vey is a RW switch him and Burr. That lineup might work.
How about Byfuglien instead of Ladd? That would be a nice looking D |

Who do you trade them for? Teams will be having a tough enough time getting their rosters down, and others may be up against the cap. You aren't going to get draft picks from a cap floor team for a depth player, so you may end up taking a contract back and having a messy situation to deal with. Shinkaruk can play in the AHL, Horvat may get a chance but if you are talking two roster spots suddenly gone then you are putting an awful lot of pressure on two young guys with zero NHL experience. I am all for bringing in youth if it makes sense, but cutting off forward depth in order to rush these kids does not. |
