I figured Alt and Haag would be in the discussion mix today. I wonder if we can move a defender once the Bruins are done taking care of their problems. I think Alt can easily assume a bottom two role with the Flyers.

I can't wait for the time Giroux gets run from behind and seperates his shoulder and then Simmonds takes a run at the other teams star player and has to stick up for himself and breaks his hand in a fight. At least we didn't suit someone up who could have done that job instead of Simmonds.

I think Bill had mentioned that Alt is probably #9 on the depth chart, with Manning being ahead of him.

Which really doesn't happen much, and there are rules put into place, to try and prevent that. That's the old school way that has been legislated out of the game. It's a shame they don't let players police the game anymore.

Makes sense, Manning has much more experience than Alt at the pro level. Look for Alt to see top pair minutes in Allentown and play in all situations.

He's an upgrade over Shelley, that's for sure.

But I think people are wondering why you couldn't have a guy like Leino/Penner/Halpern/etc . in that role. Guys who can had for league minimum on 1-year "prove it to me" deals.

Unfortunately not, in the Toronto area (frank)ing Center Ice doesn't even stream pre-season poop, and Rogers increased the price by $50, those bastards!
