Guy has a man's body, he's ready to play against men. I'd like to see him stick with the canucks, but if not i think Europe is a better option for him then the CHL. Only problem with sending him to Europe is that i don't think he can come back to play in the NHL without being exposed to waivers.... ala Ryan O'Reilly.

Yes he does but man did he look small against those behemoths on San Jose.

Prove nothing? It's how you develop the mindset & confidence level of a top tier professional athlete. Dominating your age group mentally & physically. He hasn't "proven" he can do that yet. Sending a 19yr old to get coached by some random Euro on big ice (completely different game) in a subservient role with lesser adult talent makes no sense for his development.
- DrChristianTroy

Horvat won OHL Playoff MVP in his draft year..... i think that's dominating.

Corrado could be a bit of a target for any flames trying to impress management after his questionable hit on Johnny hockey in penticton
- Redmile247

at this point, I don't think someone thudding out is going to impress management. Not like someone will take that job from mcgratton

both teams have other things to focus on then what happened in a prospects game.... that said, if JG showed a bit of edge towards corrado, that would help him out (but not fighting of course, thats not his game)

I think you're looking for something that isn't there, he's not a "dominate" type of player and he never will be? He plays a very good 200 foot game, he also finished 27th in OHL scoring by the way, what are you expecting him to accomplish? Suddenly become the OHL scoring leader?

Guys like Patrice Bergeron or Johnathan Toews don't dominate offensively because they choose not to cheat defensively, same as Kopitar, that's his game. Is he gonna be that good, no, but they play similar style of games.

Scott Laughton just went through the same things and it did nothing for him.

JG isn't playing tonight. But Bollig is. He's really the only guy whom I can think of targeting Corrado. And I have to assume Corrado is playing. I can only name 3 Canucks defencemen who haven't been ruled out of this game, and he's one of them.

Bollig should go nowhere near corrado ...corrado is a young prospect and if bollig goes anywhere near him I hope Kassian takes his stick to bolligs face ...let a fringe prospect try and impress or just leave it alone

So, back to my iPod that went through the washing machine, I left it in a bowl full of dry rice over night and now not only is it working, but the battery life seems to have been extended. I don't know how Benning did it.

Yea, I don't want to officially call out Horvat as a one-time performer, but one playoff is a small sample size by which to judge

I don't disagree that it would be a silly thing to do to run around and goon it up with the kid, but Bollig isn't exactly a grizzled veteran himself (he of the 1 full NHL season), so I don't have a problem if he goes out and finishes his checks with extra pep.

I for one hope this doesn't happen again, I actually want to see him on the opening night roster this year

I would rather have Schneids.
- bloatedmosquito

if we traded luongo and kept Cory, Lack would have been his backup, and there would have been a goalie controversy last year anyways and we probably would have traded Cory anyways

If Gillis had any brains in his head he would have traded Schneider the year before when the team wasn't in a tough spot with Lu and his trade value was very very high!!

OR

AV might not have gotten fired, the Canucks could have won the Stanley Cup and Schneider might have won the Conn Smythe.

The goalie controversy only existed because the backup (schneids) out-played the starter (Lou).

I like Lack, but I don't see him being at Schneider's level quite yet.
