He could be added - Yahoo often updates both the positions of players as well as adding/deleting players, if I recall correctly.

Perhaps let Petro keep tabs on things and if Virtanen is in fact added, we agree that his rights belong to Petro (and he can add/delete accordingly or use the NA if Virtanen doesn't make the team)

Yeah, besides Virtanen all the rookies drafted are in the system. Damn, I woulda drafted him over Roussel otherwise but figured he was off limits.

It's a tough call, but I think it's simply too late to find some form of equitable solution. Hopefully it won't make a difference (quite doubtful that Virtanen makes the team but of course he's a good prospect)

For sure, I'll have to just go with the majority and try to piss of as few as possible.

Given the circumstances, I think you've done well and had to do a lot of work. Not easy to take over an entire pool (keeper especially) and try and make everyone happy.

I think one has to realize just how difficult logistically this has been - 18 owners who have *gasp* other commitments etc. In any event, we are almost finished.

Like I mentioned earlier, it's pretty much a no-win situation either way. I guess we can make Virtanen unavailable this year if everyone thinks that's the way to go (especially if there were a lot of poolies who would have picked him as you said - my understanding was that only one or two other people were interested in Virtanen...how about a coin-flip? lol?

Only 2 others that I know of. KB3Point0 was not one of them. That does make 3 that wanted him earlier(plus myself, but I'm looking more to win now so no biggie as I wanted to draft him to flip him). I gotta imagine Scooby will also be against this pick.

It should be left up to Yahoo, like every other player will be. If Yahoo adds him then he should be available as a free agent when that happens. It's unlikely as he can't be brought up though.

That sucks, he's a knowledgable and common-sense hockey lad who always had a good perspective with quality input. Maybe he'll decide to post this year and maybe we just need to go ahead with the hockey intervention
