Wow,,, just wow. Nothing hurt the Sedins production more than losing Hoff. It goes both ways between them. NOT TO MENTION how much it hurt our PP. And using Buffalo as a measuring stick is pretty weak.

Sometimes you have to look for defensive security elsewhere on the ice when you have that kind of chemistry. This team suffered terribly without his offense and Im not just talking about his points. Nobody has been able to get the Sedins in deep and set up like he did. It played a large part in their decline and the decline of our PP. Im surprised how easily this is dismissed. many people have changed their tune in fact. Dont know what you are missing til it's gone kinda thing....

Bieksa can be the most inept dman on our teams for long stretches every season and couldnt hit a bear in the ass with a bass fiddle... everyone loves him tho.

Canucks had the 4th best power play the year after Hoff left, and the team won the presidents trophy as well. I think they did alright without him and they sure did well not having that crazy contract!!! the fall of the canucks power play has more to do with the Sedin's getting older. Having some guys with legit shots on the PP would help as well.

I wish he had better puck possession, just look at the power play's, a couple of times he lost the puck which shouldn't happen on the power play when the defense isn't really pressuring all that much.

Who's the last kid/kids that we drafted and the fans were really excited about him/them?? Sedins, Linden, ??

Horvat looks average out there. Still looks to be a step behind the play at times. Send him back to junior. Shink has been impressive though, the kid has a lot of energy and seems to make something happen almost every shift. Gaunce looks like a longshot to make the NHL.
