These are the first detailed pictures of Pluto ever taken. The New Horizons space probe is going to be doing a flyby on the 14th. So it's a big deal.

Is there need for the Plutonians to take cover so as not to be shot?... What does Mickey Mouse plan on doing about this? With all Disney wealth one would imagine retribution would be forthcoming.

so he won?

i do like that they still give you a belt to hold onto in this situation as a reminder that you're next.

boxing is bobo with all the ducking anymore.

It really is surprising that in this day and age... when the facts about concussions and PCS are becoming much more clear, and are being addressed in most all other Sports... that Prize fighting (Boxing), whose aim is to try and concuss your opponent... let alone UFC which is done without the large padded gloves and allows kicking and punches and situations not close to being allowed in any Authorized/Sanctioned Boxing Organization... UFC is not only allowed but is growing in popularity and is in fact supplanting Boxing in America and beyond.

I was a huge Boxing fan who grew up with a father's whose favorite Sport by far 'The Fights'... To be honest, I find it hard in this Era to justify a Sport where Concussions are not just tolerated, but encouraged as an Aim... with only minor moves -- such as cutting 15 Round Major Bouts to 12 Rounds -- towards reducing the chance of concussions. The target in Boxing and UFC is still the head and at least in Boxing, whose Rules I better know, the objective of most participants is a KnockOut... which is a nicer term for a Concussion.

For once New York is ahead of the Game. [/Rant][/Preaching]

If you push the Concussion hypocrisy to the side and ignore it totally, to me more than the too many Organizations... which I agree has often been a problem when multiple fighters in a Class(s) are declared Champions... is todays lack of top notch quality opponents that People look forward to and crave... no longer are there personalities that we long to see or long to see defeated. Fraser/Ali is the best example, but there were many back a couple/few decades when there were many fairly even fighters around who had the chance of winning any particular bout. There were so many Boxers matched up in Main Bouts... and in their routes to reach the Money Bout we often watched to keep track of them as we looked forward to their future match against an equal opponent... and ther was always the chance of an occasional upset along the way.

Today who in each Class do we have that we really long to see matched up in a Money Bout... besides an occasional equal match of fighters who could hold the jockstraps of the Golden Eras of the Ring? -- not that I really follow the Sport much now... and never with the passion I once did -- In the Heavyweight ranks is there really any one besides Wladimir Klitschko that is worth noting?... I wouldn't think there is... In the past there were many top quality fighters that matched up and were worth looking forward to, even if not as a Championship Match. Back then the many Organizations with various Champs were a problem... Today IMO it is more the fact -- besides the Concussion factor -- that we have too few Elite fighters... and the ones we do have cannot hold a candle to those in the past... and in the past, Light-Heavyweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, Lightweight, Bantamweight, etc. Classes had multiple fighters of great quality... and today I see one pretty good Heavyweight dominating the field and some big mouth lower weight class fighters talking their way into Money Bouts that the remaining fans want to see... but never like the rivalries of the past decades.
