hes on tonight! is he considered our best goalie prospect or is ullmark? - gerbe42
Makarov is up and coming, he's not ready though. I've been saying for 2 years now that I think he will be our starter in the future, or somebody elses for that matter.
Unless of course Nolan somehow gets Gudļevskis on this team. |

Why Mitchell? - Herzeleid
He has really imposing size and strength something our forward crew lacks. Along with that he can score too. He is still young and could become more consistent and better defensively still. he already seems to open up a lot of ice for his teammates. Basically he can score as much as all the others and has the size too.
edit: was talking about Stewart. Not Mitchell, read it wrong. |

Moulson has an NTC, correct? Im pretty sure TM has gone on record as "liking" Ennis. Not sure what will happen with CoHo. - seedy
I thought Moulson did not sure, deal was turned down for Hodgson from what I told. not a big deal and I don't know what team it was. |

CoHo was pretty good tonight. - sippyd
Just listening to WGR's highlights now.
grigo sounded good. My gut feeling would say get him back to rochester to play with Armia until at least the trade deadline, if not a full season. |

Mitchell has about 5 goals in his last 100 games. Scoring is a about the last thing he does |

They don't want to jeopardize the tank with those two goal scorers.

No problem.
Mitchell at least has speed, if it came down to him or Ellis I'd take Mitchell every time |

Not sure if thats sarcasm or not, but its true regardless. If they keep any of these "good" kids up and they catch fire, it may jeopardize the losing season. They want to "entertain" this year but still kind of finish at the bottom. |

Think we can replace our whole line too? Ej was hit 16 times. I wonder if saints fans are ready to get rid of brees since they're 1-3. Maybe an even swap? I know ej isnt the greatest but if you wanna blame an entire lose on someone you should look at the entire offense first. Our offense (not just ej) isnt very good. - zdp1189
Brees has a track record. EJ Manuel does not...at any level.
Manuel had time to make throws. He missed a lot of them. Some early drops were problematic as well, but receivers were starting to get visibly frustrated in the 2nd half. |

And we refused to run.
I watched the 49ers game yesterday, Kaepernick had a similar game to Manuel, lots of bad throws, turnovers. Yet the big difference in the game was a couple great grabs by his recievers, and they went back to the run in the 2nd half.
This much like the SD game was a collective fail offensively. Not just the QB.
That being said, EJ has about 4 games left to show he can play at a higher level or I'm about done |

And Drew Brees had absolutely no track record at this point in his career (14 starts) |

They probably should have run more, I would agree. However, the playcalling was more than good enough to win that game. Houston didn't shut down the pass. Buffalo just missed the throws, receivers and the quarterback alike.
The Texans also loaded the box a lot in order to stop the run, most likely because they really didn't respect Buffalo's passing game at all. |
