If Daniel doesn't produce in the first 10 games move him down to the 3rd line as a Centre and bring up Burrows and put one of Vey/ Richardson/ Matthias on the left side on the second line. Until Daniel proves he's got some game leave him on the third line. Then move him to the second line and if he keeps producing move him to the first.

Thunder called it weeks ago, he said Shink is the sleeper pick to make the team.

I think the flames will surprise people this year. Playoffs no. But man, as bad as they were last year, They had more heart than any other team. they lost alot of close games. Bennett is going to be a big time player.

im expecting the same as last year. hardworking, no games off, just being a pain in the ass to other teams.

If they do that, I'm pretty stoked with the team. I'd rather see a team with young players going balls out and making each game a battle. then stars just giving up or old guys picking up a pay check

After tonight the #Canucks play EDM, EDM,CGY,EDM and then EDM. Yikes.

This should help us get a head-start on the season in terms of confidence and racking up points.

I still don't understand how Sestito being waived clears a spot for a young guy. What is the point of keeping Jensen/Shink up if they are just sitting in the Box.

I truly think Sestito is here to stay as the 14th forward. That still leaves at least one legit NHLer in the pressbox with him or a young guy (doesn't make any sense). A trade must be coming.

If Sestito was waived we would have a very different looking lineup.
