We can always hope he's suspended

We could take side bets in it, because there might not be any casinos left by November |

I'm very confident 3 of the youngsters will be on the blueline and with significant roles within a couple of years. My best guess is Sanheim, Morin, and Ghost. |

Im not so sure about Morin. But I think he isn't far away. Ghost can play in the NHL right now. - MBFlyerfan
Yeah, Morin still needs a year at least. More likely two since he cant play in the AHL this year. I still want to see he put on another solid 10 pounds too. |

It wasn't ideal defense, not sure why Schenn felt the need to leave the front of the net with both D behind net |

Agreed. Hagg is no joke either.
That's why I'm thinking AMac will be moved in a few years. No need to pay him that once you've got those guys coming in. |

I just think he will develop quicker in the NHL....12-14 minutes a game ....not that a another year in the Q would hurt...I just have seen enough to form my opinion.

Yeah. If Schenn is in position, that play doesn't happen |

because he's a terrible hockey player. in tonight's game anyway. he was absolutely useless at both ends of the ice. |

He is going to be so physically dominant over pretty much all the forwards he faces in the Q. Morin will probably outweigh most of them by at least 40 lbs or more. His size and reach make up for his inexperience already.

How many guys have signed long-term deals here and finished out their deals (w/o ending up on LTIR)? I honestly can't think of any off the top of my head. |

I think by game 60... He probably would although I think they will send him back....but to me he's good enough along with Ghost to play now. |

I think Morin will be back in junior even though he could take a spot from someone. Having another year to work things while possibly being a part of Canada's World Junior team will be good for him. |

Technically, Kimmo. I think the last great d-man was Desjardins, I believe. I think he just retired because he just ran out of gas. He was such a great defenseman.

Those guys getting to the point where they can be the top defenseman, in top roles is a lot further away then you think. They can make the team and contribute sooner. But there will be growing pains along the way. Most likely getting to the point where Morin and Sanheim are going to be top 4 level NHL defenseman, is probably close to 5 seasons from now, maybe longer. Coincidentally as long as MacDonald is signed for.

It's the same way with a lot of teams but yeah, I can't think of any recent one here.
AMac doesn't have the NTC and has a fairly hefty price tag. With so many puck movers in the pipeline now I think the chances of him finishing that deal here are quite slim, 2 or 3 years down the road. |
