We can discuss the worrisome play of the third pair and 7th defenseman if you like - Jsaquella
actually, i'd rather discuss fancy stats, vinny and schenn, and rushing all of our prospects. ready? go. |

I've mostly been on the fence bout rinaldo but if he's got that kind of work ethic and attitude as Bill describes then yes I say give him more opportunity. Im sorry to the critics but these long stretches of uninspired play and slow starts to games has to stop! Maybe giving a guy like Rinaldo more time can break this aggravating trend... Maybe. - JoeRussomanno
Just to clarify, the Flyers should give more icetime to lesser players to try to give themselves a better shot at winning? |

Bollig played 10 minutes a night at ES last season. He scored more points, had similar possession numbers and took fewer penalties. Bollig isn't as prone to reckless play as Carcillo, either.
Carcillo has also been a better player than Rinaldo over the course of his career, based on offensive production and his possession stats show that when he played for both LA and Chicago, he largely bought in and played a more controlled game.
Carcillo has also been a little used guy when he was with LA and Chicago. He played 26 games as a King and 51 games over two seasons as a Blackhawk. Rinaldo has played 66, 32(out of 48) and 67 games over his Flyers career. - Jsaquella

You need to look at things in context. We're just here to state the facts (why the (frank) come on here just to state facts and not to offer anything more?)
Vinny Lecavalier is still a good hockey player because he was a good hockey player before. Flyers should sign Wayne Gretzky.
Brayden Schenn is a bust.

No. But i dont mind them showing some favoritism to a guy like rinaldo by keeping him on team b/c of his work ethic and attitude. For him to get more icetime than he does he needs to improve his play. |

They need to do something to break this trend of slow starts and long stretches of half ass play. Rinaldo is consistent albeit in some bad areas at times but he is consistent with energy and attitude. |

Unless you get him out there with other top-6 forwards, I don't think you want to put your 4th line out against other team's top lines to start off the game.
That's a recipe for disaster. |

Bruins dump Ville Leino - Jsaquella
Supposedly he was looking pretty good in camp... guess having Reilly Smith back killed that opportunity.

So now Stefan Elliot and Louis Leblanc are waived. Also Colin Fraser. Do we have any space for any of these. I think Elliot and Leblanc could be interesting. 4th line and possible depth defensman |

Their inconsistency is due more to their lack of skill than lack of effort. Watching Rinaldo deliver a good check isn't going to help the team move through the neutral zone |

Not creating a log jam if Hextall really wants guys to develop in the AHL. You alo could release guys like Laurdison to make room for someone like Elliot or waive a guy like Powe for Leblanc. |

Not sure those guys bring in anything more than the guys Flyers already have in their system. They don't seem to fill an apparent need. Elliot, maybe, but I'd say even that is a stretch. |

If I remember correctly, there are only 2 "ironic" things in that song (the dude who finally gets on the plane, and...something else). I don't think anything mentioned in the chorus is actually ironic. - jmatchett383
Ok, haha, even though I'm late to the party, I had to comment. I love the melody of that song, but I don't think there is anything ironic in the whole song.
Even plane crash guy...that's just bad luck. It would be ironic if he was so worried about a plane crash that he takes the train...and dies in a train wreck. |
