Would you consider putting him in the Sabres lineup for 9 games? |

Since I screwed up the page my answer is this:
I would give Reinhart his 9 games and see how that goes. After those 9 games Reinhart heads back to juniors and I think Grigorenko could take his place after he plays the first month in Rochester.
He has shown promise. I don't want to toy with him though. He had a strong game (actually his preseason has been good as well) and I think he will get better. Send him to Rochester and see how he is doing down there. He needs to play with more offensive players that's no secret. Play him top minutes in Rochester and go from there. |

I think this could back-fire. You tell Grigo that he's going to play in Rochester for the first month while this year's darling hangs with the first team, and then, after that show is over, Grigo gets to take the spot?
The way Grigo been mishandled can only lead to huge issues of mistrust: despite that, this year he is working hard and succeeding. In the same timeframe, Reinhart has looked like a mere mortal 18 year old. When Grigo looked like a mere mortal, we told him it was a mistake to play him the the NHL and that he needed some time in the junior. The franchise needs to reward Grigo's effort: give Grigo the nine games and send Reinhart to juniors. |

Reinhart is in a tough spot. His problem seems to be that he needs to get used to the speed of the NHL game. I don't think another year in Juniors helps him in that regard at all. Rochester might, but that's not an option. They might have to simply take their lumps here, and just play him with some talented players. |

What's with the 9 games for Grigorenko that's been mentioned twice now? It's not like he has a restriction.
I think this latest game shows he needs good linemates and ice time and he can play this game. |

Yes double standard indeed. Im not sure why Grigo is still being punished for being an 18 year old in his first NHL season |

Crap, I can never keep this stuff straight. I'll say it this way, then:
Keep Grigo with the big team on one of the top two lines until he loses the spot by his play.
Send Reinhart to juniors. |

Everyone keeps saying that reinhart needs to go back to junior and get stronger. Wouldnt it make more sense to have him here with NHL trainers and coaches to get him into the best NHL shape? not to mention having him around savy veterans to teach him the way |

I think I've seen some others post that the team can give him info on what he should be doing and then have him go back to Juniors with that new info regarding what he needs to do to workout and get stronger.
My own addition to this theory is I imagine the team could afford a personal trainer for him as well, that way they know he's doing what he needs/they want. |

In a year where last place is "the goal", I don't see how keeping him here is a problem. |

My 2 cents.
Send Reinhart to juniors, let Grigorenko stay in Rochester until at least the all star break.
Grigorenko looks good, but remember this is still pre-season against a lot of guys that he will play against in the AHL. With that being said, I'm glad Grigo is shutting some doubters up |

In theory you can keep both players here. Reinhart only burns a year IF he dresses for 9 games.
Reinhart needs to adjust to the speed of the game. I don't think juniors will help him in that regard.
Grigo should get a shot here at least at some point this season. It could be December when he gets called up here. There are still things he needs to work on. I am not opposed to him being here as long as he plays with the right players and the 4th line is not the right spot for him. |

I think if anyone benefits from being around players like Gionta/gorges/moulson etc...its him. Despite the fact that we are destined to be one of the wort teams in the league, I still think (seemingly) the locker room environment is better than we have seen in a few years |

Like to see Grigo in Rochester for a bit . He should get called up on Occasion till trade deadline . When Stewart and Stafford get shipped out he is up here for good . Unless Rochester really looks like the Calder cup is a possibility, then would like to see him and Armia bring Rochester the Championship.

I am fine with Grigo in Rochester as well, but there is no harm in keeping him here either if he is playing with the correct people and getting the ice time he needs as long as he looks the part. |

I want to see him dominate in the A first. At least for a few months. |
