So, is this hilarious watching the dysfunctional group of Bills front-office guys just torch their jobs...it is like watching the Titanic go down (of course that wasn't funny)...it takes awhile, but you know what is coming.
How do you tell T-Pegs what the strategy was this off-season..and all that "planning" out the window in 4 weeks.

The Titanic was already sinking the moment they made that trade for Watkins. They went all in on a quarterback that they now have zero confidence can get them to the playoffs.

They can still draft a decent quarterback in the 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th round. The odds are just steeper, and the chances are even more remote that the guy makes an impact right away.

The whole QB disaster is perfect timing for Pegula to clean house. Unfortunately current management has set us back so our rebuild that was supposed to start in 2001 can't start until 2016. Sad.

Sure, available in rounds after 1 ... but like you say, the odds start to dwindle pretty quickly.

I just looked at the list of FA-QB's for 2015...it isn't pretty.
And since I beleive they have issues at the Guard position, the FA's there aren't so pretty either.
Translation = 2015 is going to completely suck.

No, Bennett is going to be a good one...as I beleive reinhart will be as welll...love him in the 2C position eventually.
Sabres will be more entertaining to watch this year...I can take another long year as long as they don't screw up the prize at the end.

Comcast Sportsnet or the Canadian channel. Don Cherry will be back with Sportsnet (Canada) when the regular season starts.

Right now, Sportsnet is letting the home teams produce all the games for the preseason. CBC did the same thing with the Kraft Hockeyville game.

Wel you have to wait 2 years. And even then most rookies suck anyway. With Kyle Williams and Mario getting older, the current plan will be obsolete. The unfortunate truth is the Bills are where the Sabres were 2 years ago.

It's going to be 3-4 years before we can look at Bennett and Reinhart and know if we made the right decision. The reason I think that, is many feel Bennett will end up on the wing. That was the reason I wanted Reinhart. And I think that fact alone will be the deciding factor on whether or not they actually chose the right guy.

Honestly the whole tebow thing was in my opinion the coach trying to keep people happy. He never worked out in Denver either...

Dude our Offensive Guards are a complete waste ... best thing to improve a QB = great O-Line tht can 1) enable the run (take pressure off the QB .. i.e. pass when it is advantegous, not when it is required and expected), 2) pass protect to give an extra second for the QB to go through hs reads to find the open guy.

you don't have that and we don't yet ... then the QB play suffers as we have seen.

I'm good with Reinhart.
Here's the thing though...I don't see him as a #1C...and we will have a plethora of 2C's available to us over the next couple of years with all the youngins they have in the stable...and Ennis...on one hand that is great, trade bait to land other positions of need...since C's are genrally more valuable. On the other, we could have used a #1 Winger.

Great QB's tend to make offensive lines look better than they are, especially in today's NFL which is an incredibly pass-happy league.

Very similar to, how do yo make the CB's look better, by pressuring the QB to make decision faster than he wants/is capbale of.

I realize it goes both ways on each side of the ball...the point is the Bills don't have a Great QB and aren't likely to get one anytime soon...Plan B then has to kick in.

I pointed this out yesterday, but both video and word of mouth seem to suggest that Manuel is incapable of making a read beyond his first anyway. Watt did get to Manuel often, but there were times that Manuel did have time to throw the ball, and he simply missed. There were plenty of open receivers that he just threw a bad ball to, and open receivers he simply didn't throw to at all because he never looked their way.

Unbelieveably piss poor planning, they don't have a Plan B...they went all in with EJ ... bad decision, they need now to be held Accountible.
