I'm saying generally, that's what happen's on a hockey discussion board. Players play have good games and bad, some get criticized, others praised. Weber is one who gets ripped pretty good.
With the Bills EJ Manuel I'd hate to be him today. It's not always huggy huggy kissy kissy |

I was looking at box scores for the 2 Toronto games this morning. I'm not sure which game it was, but right after the goal info I just kept seeing Weber's name multiple times...lots of penalties.
Like others have written in the not so distant past - that kid may be what it takes to draft 1 or 2. |

I know, it's horribly "nasty" to let someone know if they have a problem with me to contact our "boss" here. Whew...my bias is ridonculous. All these other people who are looking forward to a guy the team we're fans of must disagree with you because you're a Garth fan too I guess. - stashu
See, I though it was ugly to rip Garth constantly, every day when all the guy did was provide a platform for us to discuss hockey and the Sabres and It is perplexing as to how you ever got a ref job because you pouted and said you would never post there. How big of you. |

While I agree with the sentiment that they probably could have stood to run the ball more, the play calling wasn't the biggest issue yesterday. They should have won that game with the plays that were called. Receivers were open. Passes were missed and dropped. Houston didn't shut down the passing game by any means. It was all about execution, or the lack thereof, yesterday. - buffalofan19
imo, the biggest problem with ej manuel is that bills fans and media want him to be something he's probably not--a "franchise quarterback"...most fans, and media firmly believe that a quarterback taken in the first round should be a "franchise quarterback"...and they're dead wrong ...I accept the fact that he has limitations, but what I cannot accept is the offensive coordinator not playing to his strengths |

"Grigo was on the ice for the first poop and he also was on the ice in the final 90 second of play in the third period of a 2-2 tie, on the road. It didn't phase Grigo at all. Nolan also skate Grigo in the final 69 second of play in regulation."

One should be drafted every year.
I still say they should've taken Barkley or Nassib in the 3rd even though they took EJ in the 1st.
Washington would be proper fvcked had they not took Cousins. |

Yea no difference between a former mid round pick with multiple seasons under his belt and an 18 year old with 0 games under his belt.
You're on fire |

And I defend Garth as well when the trolls are out of hand . When he shows his love for Grigorenko insisting he is as sure thing to make the roster this year . I bite my tongue . Stash may not like Garth. Whatever ? This all goes back to you constantly rubbing Bennett in our faces insisting what a mistake and flop Reinhart is . Don't change the subject . Hardly a time to declare any winner in the draft . I watch the games there are many things in Reinharts game I see that please me , even though he has not lit it up yet. |

No just about you and how you know better than all of us that predicted Reinhart would be the pick . And you are so much wiser than the whole Sabres organization that chose him instead of Bennett . You should move on.

Why is that wrong?
A first rounder should absolutely be a franchise quarterback. If you're going to draft a guy in the first round, and pay him that kind of money (yes, rookie scale taken into consideration), then it's not unreasonable at all to expect that. You draft a player in the first round to have the biggest impact. Otherwise, they should have waited until the later rounds. With the way that draft panned out, they could have waited until the 2nd, probably 3rd round and still ended up with Manuel. |
