SOLID depth if the Kings had him as their 5th center.
Man I am excited for more Benning drafts. - classic321
He's had some 1st round busts, no one's perfect but I do trust him over Gillis/Nonis when it comes to prospect evaluation. |

How was the kid line? - Gullzy
Sexy, had two really good shifts. Outside of the Sedin line it was the most dangerous. |

Bonino was absolutely 100% invisible tonight. I actually forgot that he was even playing in this game. Burrows didn't look good tonight... same with Sbisa and Edler. Dorsett, the Sedin's and Vrbata I thought all looked good. for the most part, I thought Miller was decent tonight. Got handed some back luck on that second goal... made a big save only to have it hit Sbisa's skate and go in. At least it's only the pre season, though.
I'm ready for regular season hockey now. Still 9 days away |

That is good to hear. I'm pretty much hoping that all three of them make the team. I know its a small sample size, but Matthias and Sestito haven't looked that impressive. If the kids bring a scoring dynamic, I say keep them over the plugs. |

Even without those two in the lineup, it's still hard to fill out a lineup with all 3 on the team. I'd keep Hansen because he's one of the few plus skaters on the team, and Willie's system is dependant on speed and creativity.(which is why this is still going to be an up and down season, the roster still needs more turnover to get more of "his guys"). Dorsett needs to be in as well. Burrows isn't going anywhere so at best I'd say two can make the team.

The way to move Burrows is bench him , too much pride. Way too early to do that yet give him time. |

That would hurt his trade value though. And he'd still probably be picky, he seems like the type who enjoys playing in a hockey market and I;d imagine would also want to go to a team that has a chance at the playoffs or better. |

I'm starting to get scared about Burrows role on this team. He hasnt been able to score in the preseason, and has looked slow. How many times have we seen him draw penalties because of his tenacious work effort? Seems like lately hes been the one taking the penalties. I hope I'm wrong, but I think his best has long passed.

What? How does losing Cammy help them this year? Bennett isn't scoring those many goals. I'd be totally shocked if they don't finish bottom 5 in the league.
The Yotes will be better than them. Oilers added a few quality players and had horrible goaltending last year that can only get better. Canucks are flat out better. Preds get back Rinne and were already better last year. The Jets with Pavelec as their starter I could see sucking though.
Other than that I really don't see how the Flames won't suck this year. Long-term is a different story. - Nucker101
chill bud simple opinion. But I really do think they will prove some haters wrong. |

him and glenX are in the same boat this year in that regard.
But I don't think burrows will get the points glenX will this year, unless he gets to click with the sedins again.
Burrows looked slow this preseason didn't he? |
