Maybe Jay becomes a dad...he actually is having a kid in real life, so who knows? - Jsaquella
Is he still off the smack? If so, good for him. Did you see that special where they go Down Under. Interesting?
I think Kevin Smith can act outside of the Jay/Silent Bob roles. But man, Jason Mewes is just a bad actor outside of Jay role. But...he is really awesome as Jay. I love the scene where he raps outside of the Quick Stop in J&SBSB. |

Kevin Smith movies, ranked:
1.) Dogma
2.) Clerks
3.) Chasing Amy
4.) Mallrats (I realize this is blasphemy to some...)
5.) Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back (only really funny if you saw his other movies)
6.) Jersey Girl (not a typo...I kinda liked it. Don't judge me.)
7.) Clerks 2 (Eh. This movie probably should never have happened.)
8.) Red State (was this supposed to be scary? Meh) - johndewar
I'd pop Cop Out in before Jersey Girl. It was awful, but if was funny
The first half of Chasing Amy was brilliant, the second was ugh |

It's about Dante & Randall. Jay and Silent Bob never have that much to give other than comedic interludes.
Jason Mewes needs to keep busy. - mayorofangrytown
I guess. And I understand that Dante is a cipher for Smith, himself, but I still just don't think he's got anything left to say with these characters. |

Jay and Silent Bob are fantastic supporting characters. The whole intro to them in Clerks where Jay just goes on that rant is fantastic. But I didn't care for their movie in general. |

When Mewes plays "Jay", he's really just playing himself. Smith has said as much.

I wouldn't have a 4th line. I'd have a 3a and 3b. They'd play almost the exact same minutes, on would be slightly more offensive and the other would be more defense leaning.
I know what Berube will do. He'll have Rinaldo or Rosehill dressed every night, or both, and I'll wonder why they need an enforcer and pest. - Jsaquella
And I'd rather Bellemare play C on a line with Rinaldo and Raffl/Akeson than Laughton. You know that line would be sitting a lot in the 3rd period with Flyers behind or nursing a small lead. |

that was the single only almost good scene in that awful movie - -davies-
I went to the midnight release of the Hobbit and fell asleep. Then I was going to watch it with my girlfriend who hadn't seen it. We got 5 minutes in and decided to watch LOTR instead. Aside from money, there's really no reason for the Hobbit trilogy (lol) to as bad as it is. |

I like Cop Out more now that I know Smith and Bruce Willis officially hate each other. |

Slew foot? All I saw was a 6'6" traffic cone get dropped by a much stronger player who happens to be a foot shorter than him. Then proceed to act like a baby. - mjh609
you're (frank)ing clueless. slew foot. and he's no traffic cone. (frank) off, troll. |

People fell all over themselves on twitter calling Morin a baby for his reaction to that play.
I didn't get to watch last night, but if this is the play they were referring to, I'd be a bit more inclined to understand Morin's anger.
That said.....Sam's gotta control himself a bit better. - johndewar
i didn't see any "baby" reaction. he gave him a little shot, nothing at the head, not a sucker shot. right in front of him. i thought he was under control. could have just as easily not been called. i have no problem with it. |

I just sit back, watch and enjoy. It's like I can't help myself. I just relate to the whole Kevin Smith mindset. He's got to do everything I'd ever want to do. Write Comics, own a comic book store, bullsh!t on TV for money, direct movies...
All I ever managed was correcting art work for an independent and get a crap load of paintings stolen in a gallery foreclosure.

i love it too. that tiny little midget should appreciate a smaller guy showing some balls and trying to stick. he can (frank) off and go back to tampa. oh that's right, his gm didn't think he belonged on the olympic squad so he had to cry his way off the team. |

Thank you! My cousin and I had a huge (beer fueled) debate over this. Favorite scene is trading war stories over injuries suffered doing the deed.
Favorite line(s)
Banky - She's been around and seen things we've only read about in books.
Holden - But at least we've read about them. |

Not winning any 1-on-1 board battles all preseason long is a pretty big one. He hasn't gotten caught of position in general, though, which is nice.
Edit: Talking about Ghost. If it's Morin, he HAS been caught out of position several times this preseason, and has had some trouble with his decision making in the offensive zone. - jmatchett383
talking about morin. i watched him pretty closely last night, and he was making smart, phyisical plays along the boards all night, winning puck battles and moving the puck well. i wasn't watching as closely when he was in the offensive zone. |
