Good. The size and scope of the Olympics have become a joke. Countries with gross human rights violations, massive poverty and other problems are putting on this massive dog and pony show. Putting themselves in massive debt and building sports venues to never be used again, all so it looks great on tv. It should be just about getting together and competing in the sports, not the age of the buildings or how good it looks on tv.

Plus with the NHL threatening to not play, the winter Olympics will be doomed.

I like what the x games does. It's about the competition and the sport, not creating useless buildings that don't get used after the event and wastes a countries money. For the love of god all you need is a mountain and some snow, not billions of dollars in sporting complexes that don't get used.

I always liked it but i was one of the few i guess. Definitely brings the leadership, an all around class act, and the chemistry he has with ennis (and stafford) is really top notch for what i expect in a line "clicking together." Theres no reason he cant have another 30 goal season this year because he will have the stability of being on one team with his friends and the same teammates

Better deal not a better player. 5 million for a 25-30 goal scorer will be a bargain in 2 seasons. As long as he keeps producing 55-60 pts per year its going to be a steal compared to the 7 million per year others are going to be making

51 pts may be the ceiling there, he's on the wrong side of 30 and he never had the best legs out there. Scores most his goals in the junk/dirty areas and I doubt he'll be able to keep that up for 82 games in the final few years of his contract.
